about Trove

Honestly, I just want to make the world a better place.

A place where we can be authentic, where we flourish with the right people beside us for the ride.

a note from the founder

Hi, I’m Helen.

Many people have said I’m a utopian thinker, and yah yah maybe I am. SO WHAT. SUE ME (just kidding please don’t).

But yeah, there are a few questions I can’t stop thinking about:

What does a resume of the future look like?

How do we keep our human edge in an era of AI?

How do we go beyond the labels we’re so used to describing ourselves with?

How do we have more reliable signals of who one another is?

How do we build technology with a long-term view, by actually considering its impacts on everyday people?

Those are the things I started noodling on with my last company in experiential education (where our students did more than 750,000 hours of hands-on learning!). And they’ve become the things I want to figure out with Trove.

I hope you’ll join me for the ride (and have fun doing it!).

Ex-PM at Zynga and Microsoft. Helped 4,000+ career-switchers gain tech experience through real-world projects. Forbes 30 Under 30, G20 Delegate for Canada, and VERY INTO HAVING FUN AND MAKING GOOD THINGS FOR THE WORLD.

Ex-pilot license holder. Pivoted into Live2D animation, then landed at Trove breaking tangles before you do, editing, filing bugs. Re-tests a tangle at the slightest hint of something wrong going on, and doesn't stop until it's sorted. Has a mental folder of OC lore that's been WIP indefinitely.
